Nadi Pareeksha

Nadi Pareeksha is a traditional Ayurvedic diagnostic technique used to determine a person’s physical, mental, and emotional health by examining their pulse. The term “Nadi” refers to the pulse, and “Pareeksha” means examination or assessment.

During a Nadi Pareeksha, an Ayurvedic practitioner will place their fingers on the patient’s wrist to feel their pulse. The practitioner will then analyze the pulse and identify any imbalances or disturbances in the patient’s body, mind, or emotions.

The practitioner may ask the patient a series of questions to confirm their findings, and then recommend specific Ayurvedic treatments to address the imbalances. These treatments may include dietary changes, herbal remedies, massage, yoga, and other natural therapies.

Nadi Pareeksha is considered a non-invasive, safe, and effective way to diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions. It is often used in conjunction with other Ayurvedic diagnostic techniques, such as tongue diagnosis and facial diagnosis, to provide a comprehensive assessment of a patient’s overall health and well-being.
